A former Procter & Gamble sales executive, and a trailblazer at the intersection of sports, business, and leadership, Fran brings a rare combination of championship experience and real-world business execution. She played on the University of Texas’ historic 34–0 NCAA championship team and went on to win a professional title with the Houston Comets during the WNBA’s inaugural season. That championship mindset now fuels her work off the
court—building companies, advising leaders, and shaping the future of women’s sports. Fran led bid efforts to bring a WNBA expansion team to Austin in 2025. That same year she was named to the Austin Business Journal’s “Texas 100”, a list of the most influential pros in Texas, which also included Mark Cuban, Elon Musk and Cathy Harms, top HEB executive.
She is the founder of multiple ventures across sports, media, and entrepreneurship, including EXALT, a women’s basketball ecosystem designed to expand opportunity for girls and women at every level of the game. She is also a respected sports broadcaster for the WNBA’s Dallas Wings, and storyteller, known for translating complex ideas into clear, actionable strategies audiences can use immediately.
On stage, Fran captivates audiences by blending straight talk, humor, and hard-earned insight. Her 400+ talks span more than 100 Fortune 100 companies and non-profit organizations, and challenge audiences to think bigger, lead braver, and move decisively—whether they’re navigating change, building culture, launching something new, or redefining success on their own terms. In November 2025, Fran received the Distinguished Alumnae Award at The University of Texas, the highest honor bestowed upon alum by the Texas Exes.
