He has been to the Super Bowl three times, lead the NFL football conference in pass receptions in 1976, was offensive captain for four years, and still holds other prestigious titles.
While his career as a professional football player is outstanding, Pearson has sought to make his business career even greater. His business is one of the leading manufacturers for the NFL, Major League Baseball, Disney, NBA, NASCAR among other companies. In his life after football Drew Pearson Companies have become one of the nation’s most respected sporting goods concerns (Drew Pearson Enterprises, Inc.), specializing in licensed head wear. Black Enterprise 100s named them Company of the Year in 1994.
Not only is he a businessman but a humanitarian. He holds the Annual Drew Pearson All Star Banquet which contributes money toward educational growth in honor of his late father and brother. His good heart has been evident throughout his career. The Dallas Cowboys selected him as their NFl man of the year, and in college he was nominated “best spirited and most unselfish” team member.
His life has made him a strong businessman rich with personal experience and wise advice.
