Texas motivational speaker Maura Schreier-Fleming is an engineer by training. While at Mobil she was their first female Lubrication Engineer in the U.S. After moving to Texas, she worked for Chevron where she was recognized as one of the top five salespeople in the country. She produced over $9 million in sales her final year at Chevron. Maura started Best@Selling in 1997.
The IEEE Board of Directors awarded Maura Schreier-Fleming the 2006 Professional Achievement Award for “promoting community awareness of the practice of engineering.” She received the Regional Professional Leadership Award from IEEE in 2003. The Dallas Section of IEEE awarded her the Outstanding Leadership Award in 2006. She has served as Professional Activities Chair of the Dallas Section of IEEE since 2004.
