He was originally drafted in the sixth round of the 2010 NFL Draft by the Carolina Panthers, where he played for two years. Prior to joining the NFL, Jordan achieved college football success at Texas A&M University where he played cornerback (freshman and junior years) and safety (sophomore and senior years). He was a three-year starter at Texas A&M and played in 50 games with 37 starts. He also posted 212 tackles and grabbed 4 interceptions, contributing to an All–Big 12 honorable mention during his senior year.
Jordan received a BS degree in university studies, which includes a business major and double minor in communication and sport management. He is the son of Marshall and Jo Ann Pugh and brother of Dominique, his younger sister.
