She does public speaking and conducts virtual and in-person programs for businesses, schools, government agencies, law enforcement, medical professionals, service providers, advocates, survivors, and faith-based organizations as well as other community organizations.

Having worked as an expert witness directly with ICE, USCIS, DOJ, US District & State Courts, and the US Attorney’s Office, Ms. Dong has first-hand knowledge and experience on human trafficking, sexual assault, and domestic abuse.

Eileen Dong: “In the Asian culture, we operate by the honor and shame system. What happens in the family, stays in the family, even if you are a victim. I have become the voice for the voiceless and a hope ambassador to show them the light at the end of the tunnel. I will keep fighting until everyone is free. I hope to become United Nations Goodwill Ambassador.”

Eileen Dong: “I have some exciting news: I am the chair of the Conference on Abuse and International Book Awards, The Conference and Awards is designed to provide education and resources and networking opportunities for survivors, advocates, and organizations to end abuse together and to recognize those who have overcome adversities and have begun to speak out through books, spoken word, visual arts, music, or film. This event will take place in Houston, TX in October, 2022, during Domestic Violence Awareness Month.”

Ms. Dong’s merits have been recognized by various government officials, such as the U.S. Congress, state governors, city councils, and mayors. Houston Mayor Sylvester Turner also proclaimed January 19th as Eileen Dong Day.
